All regular full-time employees are eligible for Short-Term & Long-Term Disability coverage. No separate enrollment is required. Maritz pays 100% of the premium, so there is no cost to you.

    Your own serious illness, disability, or maternity leave.

    Both short-term and long-term disability plans are managed by Voya Financial.

    Cigna Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies

    For pregnancies, if you are enrolled in the Cigna medical plan through Maritz, you are eligible to earn incentives by enrolling in the Cigna Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies program. This program helps to prevent high-risk pregnancy and premature births through early risk detection and ongoing monitoring and coaching. Members who enroll in the program during the first trimester of pregnancy will receive a $150 incentive upon completion of the program, and members who enroll during the second trimester of pregnancy will receive a $75 incentive upon completion of the program.     Short-Term Disability

    The Maritz short-term disability program provides weekly income protection to regular full-time employees during the first 26 weeks of illness, injury, or pregnancy.  However, please note that benefits for normal pregnancies with no complications are limited to 6 weeks following the delivery date (or 8 weeks for a c-section).

    Short-term disability benefits are payable effective the first day of absence if you are unable to work for more than 7 consecutive calendar days (6 or more business days). For absences lasting only 5 consecutive business days or less, refer to the policy for other absences.

    Long-Term Disability

    To protect you and your family from financial hardship in case of a long-lasting illness or injury, the long-term disability insurance plan provides meaningful income replacement to full-time employees after 180 days of disability.

    File a Claim

    Maritz partners with Voya for disability benefits.

    If you need to take disability leave, you will file a new disability claim with Voya by phone at 1-888-973-3652 or online at https://mybenefitshub.voya.com. If you are a first-time user, click on the Register Now button to create an account. If eligible, a FMLA claim will also automatically be opened for you.
